Reply:Hacking into someone's email is illegal and person who did so should be punished, I know of nobody who is fine with it. With that said, Palin shouldn't have been using Yahoo for official business in the first place, like many things she has done, it may even have been illegal to do so. So no, hacking emails is not alright, and I say that as someone who knows a thing or two about hacking. But neither is avoiding have a record of your activity because you use an unoffical email for official business.
Reply:Hahaha. That was just a couple of computer hackers that used basic information about her to answer her security questions to get a new password. Security questions for the password included area code, name of a relative (forgot which one), etc etc. It was simple answers that were easy to find with just a bit of research. Frankly, i could have done it if i wanted to. I mean she has a basic yahoo e-mail account. Most hackers to get through that without security questions. Oh and isnt it even more ironic that republicans say democrats are 'communists and socialists' yet its the republicans that are slapping tons of regulations on businesses and using billions and billions of tax payers money to take them over to stop the economic melt-down that they created.

There are people flatly accusing the Democrats of hacking Palin for political reasons as someone I saw on FOX News last night did. I mean she flat out accused the Democrats of putting someone up to it with no evidence whatsoever, and I have to say that I think it is at least as likely that Republicans hacked Sarah Palin, or made her appear hacked, in order to create an aura of suspicion around the Democrats.

How can I protect my Email account from hacking?

It's a bit of a drag but you need to change your password at least every month. A good way to do it is to make your password 10 digits long and consisting of four numbers, three letters, and the abbreviation for the current month. Example: 6204kmmOCT. Then on November 1st you change it to 6204kmmNOV. Or, if you want to be even more protected you can change it daily by making the last three characters the day of the week, as in; 6204kmmFRI.
