Email and ebay accounts hacked, what to do?

My fiances email accounts password has been changed many times by someone else. Also all the information in the folders in the email have been deleted. At this point it will no longer allow us to go through the security questions and reset the password. The is also happening with her ebay account. Someone has gotten in and keeps changing the password. They have also been writing messages to the sellers of the items shes bidding on and the person is retracking her bids. We having Ebay monitoring the account but im not sure theres any good doing this. What I dont understand is how someone can go through her security questions over and over again and reset the password. We have made the passwords extremely long. We have also changed the security answers, but still they get in.


To anyone who knows about this stuff how exactly can one still be able to do this? What can I do about it? Is there a way I can find out who is doing this, if so what can be done to the person(s)?

you should contact ebay and let them know.


The way they did it, they sent you an email that LOOKED like it was coming from ebay but instead it went to their site, you entered your password and they got you.


It happens to tens of thousands every day.


Just contact ebay, tell them your username.


Next time you input your password into the ebay site make sure that you look at the address bar and that the address begins with:


"ebay" . or a subdomain of ebay. Anything else is a scam.

They do that with credit cards and there has been security warning for the last ten years about it all.





It's too long to explain here why they do it, I just did in another post, just make sure you report it to ebay and get your account back as the problems would come later on, that's for sure.

you get the free version of super anti spyware it will remove


keyloggers adware and all kinds of nasty stuff on ur pc.


do it now and scan. also get hijack this log download it and


post ur log somewhere in another yahoo question so we can check it out.
