Help: Someone hacked my brother email account?

Hello! Someone has hacked my younger brother email account because we noticed there were same messages being sent out 1 day ago, although he didn't do anything. Those messages weren't wrote by him. Those messages just only have things regarding to a pill going to be made and sell out from Australia.





What is this? My brother didn't made and send these messages out! However, there are messages from Hotmail company that there are failures and delays of sending those messages out.





I suspect the hacker must be somewhere in Australia.

first things first .. change the password on the email account


make it a DAM LONG one with Numbers and Letters.


If he is only using the email account at home then i would suggest making a dam long one that he can write down and put on the monitor or some thing..





I dont know what type of email account this is tho...


I also always suggest having ONE person email account for FAMILY and one for signing up to junk normaly one i use it for is SPAM, if it gets too bad ditch it.. ive got a hotmail one that builds up and up with spam.. i dont read it any way so what the hell...





Also suggest doing a Virus check there are other ways to get passwords to email people .. Trojan but its more likly not to be one of them.. Firewalls are spose to strop people coming in too but there are different types and the more Protection you get the slower the PC so its a tug of war thing..





NOD32 has been ok for me so far.. never liked Nortons as it STEALS so much RAM its a JOKE...
