Reply:Well, the first answer was rather POINTLESS! I have noticed that he posts the SAMEexact response to all of the questions he answers!

But the answer is yes it is a crime. What are your options ....... YOU HAVE NONE! I went through this same thing about a month ago. I contacted Yahoo, who basically told me to change my secret question and deal with it! I contacted lawyers and they told me that since no spam was sent from email, no harrassment or any other crime was committed via my email there was nothing I could do, even though I knew 100% who had broke into my account.

So I contacted the local police dept. and they basically told me the same thing the lawyer had told me. Breaking into someone's email is a crime, but not a crime that is worth investigating.

The only advise I can give you would be to change your secret question to something that no one would guess in a million years or close the account completely and create a new one and only give it to people you TRUST!
