If you are using yahoomail, then there's a possibility it can be trace by its email headers, you can ask your Network Administrator to interpret it for you, if you are using other email provider like google, its not possible, gmail is highly anonymous.
My email account was hacked from another computer, we share the same network, can that computer be traced?
Yes.But the Administrator must install a keylogger or similar security software on the network server, to find out who, when, and what time.Or he may have the info stored on his router ( ?) And I don't believe gmail is highly anonymous, as 1 person here claims,as I read a review google tracks and snoops on your emails in your account.A tracking cookie is installed by google to track your activities, and can be blocked by freeware called 'gzapper'.Must unblock to access gmail account though. And for your identity to or rather your IP addresss to truly be anonymous you must use a certain software that I discovered hides it really well and truly makes you anonymous.Hide IP contains/attracts/downloads trojans, (according to 'StartUp Mechanic 2x' ) and is hard to configure and doesn't really work.'Anonymizer','netconceal' etc are shareware and hard to get to work.'Jap' is ok,but you need the pro version for it to be really effective.
I am creating a total PC Protection %26amp; Security program to reduce this and other problems by 99.98%.
Reply:Possibly your Identity on network be traced but to take the charge of these you have the privileged of Network administrator to see what going on ur network.
to keep ur mail account secure keep the password change time to time.
Also there is some other way to prevent ur Identity on the INTERNET.
when ever u login to ur account use multiple proxy site and proxy server Installed on ur system to keep ur Identity secure .
download Anonymizer.ru from

Reply:Possibly, but you would need to be the administrator of that network in order to access the tools and information needed to see what happened.
Reply:If you share the same network, it should be fairly easy to see who would be hacking your computer. Just ask your network administrator to trace who's accessing your ip address from within the network. You didn't specify in your question how big the network is, so depending on the size, that should determine your likelyhood of discovering who this person is.
Reply:If the event was logged.
Reply:Lol don't listen to anyone else.
