Yes there is a way. Ask for them back. But you might not want to leave yourself wide open next time.
1.You must have left your Yahoo account open on a Public or Work or Home PC. Then
someone wanted to delete or take your messages.
2. You left your Messenger logged in and the accessed that way. Then the messages were taken or deleted.
3. Someone has found out your Password and decided your messages were not worth
anything. Then deleted or took them.
4. Between Yahoo Mail Updating to New Mail and trying to save your files. Your
messages are on another server. Which will be returned when they can to your email address.
It appears that someone may have hacked into my email and deleted some. Is there any way of retrieving them?
check your delete folder.
if there not there.....then
you cant get them back.
sorry to hear that.
Reply:doubt it but you could get in touch with your email providor/ISP and see what they say
Reply:did you look in trash...most people forget to empty it.
Reply:Try looking in your trash bin.
Reply:depends where they were.. were they on your computer or on an email server.. who is your email service done by etc...
that is where are they stored..
files that are stored on a harddrive can be recalled if the cluster is not overwritten..
while in effect this same thing may apply to an email server.. but it may involved emailing your email service company..
it ain't easy in most instances.

The sender may be able to resend it if is stored in their send folder.
