My messenger and email account have been hacked and i dnt know the answer to my secret question,what can i do?

I also belive my secret question has been changed, but is der anyway at all i can get my account back, and who can i contact because i know the personal questions to my account like name, DOB, phone number etc, all these i can verify, but plz anyone got any ideas or had this problem before, thankyou.

First: Learn how to make a Strong or Very Strong Password. Quit using simple passwords like pet names, common human names, music group names, favorite singer names etc. These can be broken in seconds by simple programs run on a home computer. Do a Google or Yahoo Search for "How do I make a Strong Password". You will get lots of answers.





Uninstall Messenger and reinstall with a new strong password. This will stop access to your messenger.





Go here and ask Yahoo Mail what to do about your email account.

Reply:You can contact the email provider or make a new one and tell all ur friends and make the password stronger. If u have a keylogger on ur computer, your pretty much screwed.
Reply:Call tech support and change your password to "what-are-u-wearing". Then call everyday and ask them for your password!

Unless you have a secondary email setup.


If it was hacked chances are the person already changed all that information.





Ask the hacker nicely, perhaps he/she will allow you to have your account back
