How do i delete/block my email add that was hacked & still being used by the hacker for its next transgression

a yahoo account, hacked while i was using ym. the hacker used my friend's email %26amp; then sent me an instant message. Since i thought it was really my friend, the chatting continued until i was asked to click a link (i believe it's for yahoo photos) so i can see her latest pics. after doing so, my ym all of a sudden logged out %26amp; i cant sign in anymore. I realized that my account was hacked when another friend gave me a call saying that i buzzed her %26amp; that i was asking for something. she got suspicious (since it also happened to her friend). I did my best to retrieve my password but the culprit was quick enough to change it. up to now, some friends are saying that they've been getting messages from that yahoomail. How do i delete/block my email add that was hacked %26amp; still being used by this hacker for its next transgression?

Phishing - Make a false sign in page and send it to people through messenger. With a little message as if you know the person, then prompting them to SIGN IN and view some pics to remind them. So many people do not realise you do not need to sign into geocities and other sites to view pics..DO NOT SIGN INTO ANY LINK THAT IS SENT TO YOU ON MESSENGER, EVEN IF IT IS A YAHOO SIGN IN PAGE, ALWAYS ENTER YAHOO THROUGH THE YAHOO HOME PAGE. read%26gt; http://security.yahoo.com/article.html?a...

If you can get a copy of that link email the link to yahoo.

You can try and click "forgot your password" and recover the ID by filling out all your original info used when you made the account. If the thief has changed your ZIP and alternate email this will NOT work.

You may be prompted to choose between "I have never used a credit card with Yahoo!" or " I have used a credit card with Yahoo!" PLACE A DOT IN I have never used a credit card with Yahoo!

and click continue to recover your account.

if your account has been stolen, there is not much chance you will get your ID back as all original info will be changed and although yahoo says it recognises original info, THEY DO NOT, as once the thief changes the ZIP and primary email the recovery process anywhere though yahoo is useless. It is this new ZIP that Yahoo will recognise in recovery, not the original one you used when making the account.

Yahoo will not listen to you without that original personal info matching.

Make sure you have a good password something with letters and numbers in it the Yahoo generated passwords are the hardest to crack.

DO NOT SIGN INTO ANY LINK SENT TO YOU ON MESSENGER, ALWAYS USE THE YAHOO HOME PAGE.

fill out this form and send it off to Yahoo
